Yeah, that should be more than adequate. It's better than my computer and I run GW at full settings ~25 fps.
Only thing is, from what I've heard, eMachines are generally not a quality brand of computers, like Gateway or Asus or Sony. Don't quote me on it, that's just what I've heard through the grapevine.

You're not even going to get 20 FPS on lowest settings with that I bet.
The Integrated Intel 950 graphics chipset is horrible, I'd avoid that computer like a Plague.
I wrote up a huge post for a guy in the Tech Corner about it, even the Intel GMA 3100 is going to be horrible (the most common Integrated chipset atm).
Just buy a computer with a dedicated graphics card (ATI or Nvidia) and you're much better off, depending on what card of course.

You could put off getting a new computer until GW2 if you want. Or even Diablo 2 and a few other future releases. Hardware prices will drop for things that will support them just fine.

Yeah.. I was really worried about that graphics card. Seeing as it comes with a PCIe slot, are there any graphics cards out there on a budget that can provide a comfortable experience? Atleast 30 FPS with medium settings.
I plan on going all-out with a graphics card at Christmas.

Well then you should be able to pick up an 8600GT or anything above and play with 60FPS max probably.
Though other cards would also suffice, I think the 8600's are well under 100$ now? I don't know what your budget is but I got an 8600 and I was well pleased with it, it's a good little card. I think you can get better cards for budget prices now too though, like 9600's are getting close to 100$? That's a lot better of a card.

the GMA 950 will be nothing but headaches galor for GW, let alone GW2. Take it from me, there are certain areas of GW that you will not even be able to enter without crashing to desktop (namely NF and GWEN).
What's your budget for a graphics card? If you are comfortable installing a GPU yourself, then why not go ahead and make your own custom system? Moriz has a nice $500 gaming configuration in the Computer Buying and Building thread...

Ah well, I namely liked that deal from Best Buy because it comes with the monitor and printer.
I'll start trying to look for alternatives if this can't work out. My budget is around 500-600 right now, I'm just a casual gamer.

I do believe that emachine had a PCI Express 16 slot on it didn't it? Check this deal out:

$50 after rebate - you won't get a decent card for less than that - anywhere.
You will be able to play GW with ease on high settings with that too. In the future you may want to upgrade, but for now that should be just fine.
(if you end up looking elsewhere, be sure to check out www.dell.com it's worth it just to play around with their configurators hehe)

9800GT or 9500GT are both good cards, not sure how they run Guildwars though.

That computer doesn't specify the size of the Power Supply, but, being eMachines, you can bet it's the bare minimum. So, for a graphics card, you'll probably want something low power like an ATI 2400 based, or similar low end nVidia.

They both slaughter it, but the 9800GT would also slaughter an eMachines PSU.
The 9500GT might work though.
